As the deadline for the race car approaches, all the respective teams are working hard. From the chassis iterations, a whole car is born. The team is currently iterating between design and simulations for a number of parts, including the chassis and wheel assembly which are in their final stages. The next step lies in fitting the remaining parts and assemblies on to their appropriate places around the chassis. Exciting times lie ahead where a new car is swiftly taking shape!

 

Our proprietary electronics data collection package, which will consist of a node at each wheel connected to a main node is close to completion of the first stage – the main node manufacturing.

The next steps include testing the main node, sensor acquisition for the wheel node and the completion of the actual wheel node. We can’t wait to show it to you!
