In order to increase the level of academic work behind each aspect of the project, the way forward is to include final year projects which are specifically aimed at improving an aspect of the racecar. With this in mind, academics and students alike were encouraged to make use of the structures within UOMR to apply their respective area of interest to Formula SAE related engineering.
